Northlane Metrics started as an internal tool for keeping an eye on a handful of side projects, and slowly turned into something other people wanted to use.

Philosophy

Most monitoring tools are built for teams with a dedicated platform engineer. We build for the other case: one or two people who need to know when something is down, without learning a query language first.

Stack

Small Go services behind a single reverse proxy, a handful of probe workers spread across a few regions, and a plain relational database. Nothing exotic.

Status

Currently invite-only while we finish the billing integration. If that changes we'll update this page.
